So is Lane's breakup temporary or for good??? Is this a buildup to when they will be doing a location shot in Paris???

I think it's a temporary breakup through the remainder of the summer and that somehow Lily will be on an extended Jabot photo shoot in Paris towards the end of summer. Cane will somehow get his common sense back and find his way back to Lily in Paris. At least I hope this is how it plays out.

Cane and Lily are from over. Just wait till tomorrow's epi and that will be VERY obvious.Chloe is a bump in the road. Look at the other things that have happened to the. Each time, it only makes them stronger.After this is all said and done, I bet they are going to want to get married ASAP before anything else can get in their way.For a while now I have said that they are the ones who should go to Paris. Yes, I did hear that. But I still think Cane and Lily are going to get back together. He may have given her the ring but it was all very forced. Right now, neither Cane nor Lily are thinking rationally. They are both in shock and upset. Eventually it has to come out that Cane is not the baby's father.When it does, all of this will be over. Now I am not saying they won't ever have angst again. It is a soap and that comes with the territory.But things will get better soon. We just have to hang on. Temporary.The whole marriage license thing is a way to drag out this storyline. Did anyone read a spoiler about Victor and Sabrina getting a marriage license? Or Jana and Kevin? No.

Good point Beat! It is a spoiler and bit thrown in to get everyone worked up, but it also serves as a delay tactic. It puts the marriage back while continuing the storyline. You are good!

I'm with 32... Lane is far from over and I'm hoping the rest of the story will explain the big, gaping holes in their story when it's done.Of course, it would've been great if this story were character-driven, rather than plot-driven. But, as long as they keep Hogan Sheffer on the writing staff, this is what we're stuck with. But the bottom-line is that Lane = Endgame.

LuvinLane45,I do believe TPTB really wants LANE to be over. We are going through denial and withdrawal right now, but we have to face it LANE is over and they are never going to be together again. As I have said before TPTB wants DG and EH to be an on-screen couple and not DG/CK.
