Biography
Chet Welch, a proud coach for the Miss Pennsylvania pageant and true fan of the game SURVIVOR, Chet knows first hand what it's like to be judged, and deems himself the title of "Soul Survivor."
Having coached 11 Miss Pennsylvania pageant contenders to win the title, Welch also a pageant coach for Miss America in his spare time, doesn't limit himself and is determined to do what it takes to win the game. He believes the fact that he is fit, intelligent, crafty and street/country smart will help him go far on SURVIVOR.
Welch currently works as a customer service representative for a pharmacy that supplies nursing homes and hospitals with resident-specific medications. He has been in the pharmacy business for 20 years. After finishing high school, he attended college classes in business and music.
Welch has lived in Ford City, Pennsylvania, in the same house his entire life, but has traveled throughout the United States. He enjoys swimming, hiking, kayaking, dancing and yoga. Welch describes himself as magical, determined and unknowing.
Welch continues to live in Ford City, Pennsylvania, with his significant other, Bob. Having rescued animals for 40 years, he currently houses his three dogs (Forrester, Chance and Savanna), along with 15 sheep, 75 ducks and three cats. His birth date is October 22, 1959.

Chet is the biggest IDIOT!!!! He only lasted as long as he did because he was a weak retard!! Someone people drag along to vote out later because he is NOT A THREAT AT ALL!!! That's why he made it farther than the "big guys". Not because he was smart in any way at all!! Plus it was all Tracy I think that kept him in anyways!!! Stupid Stupid Idiot!!

Everyone else was saying how much of a loser he was in so many words. These fans really were screwed from the beginning. They had Chet, and Kathy. Then Joel decides to get rid of Mary because she was getting too close to Mikey, and the others go alone with it. Then everytime one of the fans can make a good move, they choke. After Ozzy was voted out, Jason, Erik, Alexis, and Natalie could have ran the game. Jason had the idol, after TC it's 4 fans against 3 Favs. But no Alexis and Natalie stopped thinking, or maybe they never started thinking. Actually if they take out Cirie or Amanda and James leaves because of his finger, it would be 4 fans against 2 Favs. Then Alexis decides to send Amanda to Exile Island. These fans appear that they are never thinking. These were suppose to be fans of the show, and it appears they never watched 1 episode. Erik might make it, but he must win the next 2 Immunity challenges.

Reality News Online: When you saw Chet on TV, what did you think of his injury? Jonathan: The TV presentation of what happened ? Chet was not well portrayed and he?s here to argue with that. I didn?t think he was portrayed well. They certainly didn?t show us the medical team talking to him about his injury. Other people saw him as a layabout who was complaining about a booboo. The idea that he had this infection was not portrayed to us. Clearly, now I have a totally different perspective. And I totally empathize with that because there is a difference between reality, perception, and reality TV. I wonder if part of chets coaching strtagy for the miss whatever thing he calls a job requires his girls to just give up if they think is too hard! By far the worst player in the history of the game. Very Lame!

Chet is by far the worst survivor to ever play the game. he has none of the qualities that a survivor should posses. he has the opposite of those qualities. He is not physically strong, he does not help around camp, he is not mentally strong, he doesn't strategize (the only reason he stayed so long was because of Tracy), and he is not loyal, as he proved last Thursday. Outwit, outplay, outlast? he had no hope of doing any of those, for even a minute. Should have been voted out first, belongs in that category. I despise him for not being worth this game.
